We started our journey back in 1998 with the design, patent, and production of our iconic Fairway MULTIMAT™. Within 5 years we were contacted by the R & A to manufacture a bespoke set of equipment for the 131st British Open, held at Royal St Georges (Sandwich). We also supplied our MULTIMAT™ which protected the fairways prior to the Championship, ensuring a divot free course was enjoyed by many, and a perfect course was televised to a global audience.

Jason Straccia: Jason is the nephew of the founder of Fairway Products (Jack Rigby) and took over the reins in 2004. He is now the driving force behind Fairway Products with over 35 years’ experience across multiple sectors including property, and manufacturing. Known as The Boss, it is no coincidence that his cousin (albeit nine times removed), is the famous Antarctic explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton - who was affectionately known as The Boss by his team too!
Nigel Schofield: Nigel has multi-sector experience specialising in production and customer care and joined the company in 2010. His inquisitive and analytical mind, his ability to grasp technical matters quickly, and his unflappable demeanour are all highly valued by clients large and small. Nigel’s photography skills have also come in very handy when putting together our website!
Michael Sanchez-Millan: Originally from Ecuador, Michael arrived in the UK via Spain as a teenager and was initially employed as an apprentice. He quickly impressed and has established himself as a valued member of our team and now manages our warehouse facility. Michael has a passion for Soccer, Formula 1, Golf, and American Football. During his playing career, he was with The Manchester Titans and was part of the team which won back-to-back Brit Bowl titles in 2022 & 2023.
Clare Straccia: As our Company Secretary, Clare is the cornerstone of Fairway Products’ financial health and stability. Clare oversees all aspects of our accounting operations. She is passionate about providing accurate and timely financial insights that support our strategic decision-making and drive sustainable value for our stakeholders. Outside of work, Clare channels much of her energy into Zumba. She loves the high-energy atmosphere and the blend of fitness and fun. This enthusiasm and ability to find joy in dynamic, fast-paced activities mirrors the way she approaches the ever-changing financial landscape, always ready to take on a new challenge with a positive attitude.
